CECT Attends Predict:3D Models Conference in Boston, MA

On August 21, 2018, The Center for Engineering Complex Tissues was represented at the 3rd annual Predict: 3D Models conference in Boston, MA. Assistant Director Dr. Bhushan Mahadik led a morning workshop entitled ‘3D Printing and Bioprinting for Complex Tissue Engineering.’ The workshop looked at the tools and techniques used in additive manufacturing for generating tissue models, as well as ways to go about material selection and printability. The conference attendees included drug developers, model and service providers, and research institutes. It was a great opportunity to educate attendees on the Center’s mission and the intricacies of 3D printing complex tissues.
